For the fifth time Archipel organizes a workshop with children, daddies and mothers following the Art Day for Children. On that day, families with children aged up to 12 can get acquainted with art throughout Flanders and Brussels. With us also the art of architecture.

The third Sunday of November Archipel organizes for the fifth time a workshop on the Art Day for Children. On that day, families with children aged up to 12 can get acquainted with art throughout Flanders and Brussels. That art, architecture and spatial planning is part of the world of children and young people is evident. Yet only sporadic attention is given to this. Archipelago takes children on a voyage of discovery within a known building. Children are very receptive to insights into our environment space. How do children experience architectural spaces?

We work together with ABC (Art Basics for Children), an art collective from Brussels. They come to Ghent to make it a wonderful day.
