In a collaboration between the Ghent architectural associations and the services of the city of Ghent a big architecture exhibition was set up where about 180 buildings were presented. The exhibition concept was inspired by the spatial contrasts of streets and squares in confrontation with the historical location of St. Peter’s Abbey.

The Guiette house, built in 1926-1927 in Antwerp, is one of the lesser known projects of Le Corbusier. The house was rarely published, and there was never a thorough study devoted to. Nevertheless, it is in more than one respect an important house.


De Munt, Brussel

The decortower with rehearsal rooms for the choir, the office for dramaturgy and the new foyer above the auditorium designed by the group A2 RG:. P. Neirinck and others. For the entrance hall and the royal box Charles Vandenhoven was chosen. In the entrance hall, he placed columns on a gray-white marble floor of Soll Lewitt under ceiling paintings by Sam Franciss.

About the work of Eysselinck in the period 1945-1953 in Ostend. During this time he uncomprehended surpasses the postwar building in Belgium with buildings as the SEO department store and the post office. A period of opposition, too, that finally resulted in fatal disillusionment and suicide.
