Pecha Kucha
PechaKucha meaning ‘chitchat’ in Japanese. It is an amazing platform for any creative person whatsoever, famous or not, to remain present his idea in a standard format of 20 images, each for 20 seconds. Artists, architects, graphic designers, computer games creators are learning together on one stage with the intention of each other, inspired each other to hit and where tiring lengthy explanations are avoided. Evenings are organized throughout the world which is presented in full speed work thanks to a tight deadline. PechaKucha brings a dynamic evening of lively ideas of young agents who get a platform to make their work known to the wider public.
PachaKucha Ghent and Archipel joining for several years forces to organize an architectural evening in the formula.

Urban development strategies.
Young architects often have a difficult stage for the presentation of their work and their vision. PechaKucha Ghent and Archipelago want to break it. We have 10 young offices touted asking you to zoom in on their vision of urban development strategies and new forms of living. Of course, they can also create their personal item. Speeches delivered in 400 seconds are usually very different, both in style and content, but that’s what makes the formula so fascinating.
