The Baes Architecture is a young architectural firm that focuses on the development of the spatial strategies of transforming the built environment. Rapidly changing urban conditions are the subject of research and exploration, and consider limits and contradictions as the origin of cooperation, condensation, research and development. They like reuse, redevelopment, renovation, replacement, filling, compaction and high quality public space. They are highly motivated in making places for this generation of limitless diversity, connectedness and relationships. The composition of our changing teams is a reflection of the idea of an integrated Europe, with a more intensive interaction between cultures and thoughts. As a result, each project is unique in its kind. The studio is led by engineer architect Joris De Baes, who has worked for the firm OMA – Office for Metropolitan Architecture.
