Paris is currently of high importance, and at least this is so because of its architectural achievements. Mittterand is, as a recaptured Louis, the figure can be linked to “Les grands projets. One is the development history of the story “Paris … Deconstructivisited ‘very important become viz. Parc de la Villette by Bernard Tschumi. It will inter alia be interpreted as a metaphor for an urban vision of the expansion of the Parisian center.
The common thread running through the story is an intertwining of two approaches. A first approach is more focused historically. The first part tells how Paris since 1968 on architectural-urban planning back in the spotlight was informed by the ideas of architects such as C. de Portzamparc, B. Huet, Castro, Ciriani Buffi, Vasconi, Gaudin, etc … A second section tells how Paris since 1988 on architectural-urban planning got a strong identity through the impulse of the policies of politicians, who seek a representative architecture. (La Grande Arche, the Pyramid of the Louvre, IMA Parc de la Villette …). In that sense, today’s architectural environment can be analyzed on the basis of input from both the attention to the environment and also the attention to the culture; of both the contextual amenities and also the archetypal form ideology. From both perspectives, we have seen examples on our trip.
The second approach is rather conceptual-theoretical. It elaborates on the constructivist and deconstructivist methods. This on the basis of, among others, the Russian Constructivists and particularly the architectural fantasies of A. Chernikhov. On the other hand become the method of H. Cantal Hupart and R. Castro as part of “Banlieue 89” for the urban approach to the problem of the suburbs raised. These two models are then confronted with one another to decide that a concentric development of Paris, the Parisian center an imaginative landscape architecture with deconstructivist building, is a possible vision. Within this deconstructivist building play both morphologically-typological approach kontekstualisten, as the formal approach to the trans-modernist and representative architecture of the policy a major role. This will bring the two approach outlined truly a synthesis.
The tangible and intangible visit to Paris is a starting point for a picture of past, present and future of this city.
