In 1926 Terragni founded together with six colleagues, the “Gruppo 7”. In several articles they expressed themselves as followers of the Italian Rationalism.

In 1926, the year Terragni graduated from the Polytechnic of Milan, he and six colleagues, the “Gruppo 7” on. In several articles this group manifested itself as a supporter of Italian Rationalism. Their aim was to find a contemporary architectural model, which had to be both an interpretation of the classic Italian architectural tradition, when the new aesthetic achievements of the industrial age. The group around Terragni did not break with tradition; the past and the present were seen not incompatible with them.

An exhibition of the work of Terragni took place in the NHIBS Mutsaert Street 31 in Antwerp on 27 September. to Oct 22. (weekdays from 10 am to 17 pm). Several original drawings and models are included in this very exciting exhibit.
