Like no other city in Flanders, Antwerp bears traces of urban development from all eras of history. By bicycle, Archipel explores several Antwerp neighbourhoods to reflect on one of the most important metropolitan challenges – housing its population. We visit Linkeroever, Groen kwartier, the exhibition district, the Cadix neighbourhood and Spoor Noord and look at the plans, utopias, the visible layers of small and big adjustments in the urban fabric over the years.
