We invite you to the table, to tables, on the table, under the table and around the table. For twelve hours we take over the entrance hall of the S.M.A.K. in Ghent with a scenography of tables, appearing and disappearing again throughout the day and night. The concept for the party and the scenography were developed by Pieter Dossche and Maarten Lambrechts.
The table is a basic element in architecture, at which we learn, draw, work, eat, talk, forge plans (and dance on!). One table becomes more. In a silent dance, new spaces emerge through, on and at the tables. We fill the space with architecture, art, food, music, conversations, workshops and a party with Luc Deleu, HYM, Léone Drapeaud, An Fonteyne, Kuba ’97, the Ravekoor, Jo Taillieu, Paul Robbrecht, Evelien Pieters, Het Banquet, Club Dérive, 2× 0.3, Laura Muyldermans, Scott Ailliet, Bart Decroos and Maalstroom. Will you come for an hour or half a day? Do you like to come and listen, draw, watch or dance? Everyone is welcome to our birthday party, as we celebrate architectural culture together!
