Collectief Noord
Collectief Noord is a Belgian architectural office based in Antwerp. Collectief Noord was founded in 2011 by Erik Wieërs, together with Pieter Eeckeloo, Christopher Paesbrugghe, Hans Van Bavel and Peter Wils.
Erik Wieërs (°1963) studied architecture in Antwerp (NHIBS, 1987) and holds a degree in philosophy in Brussels (VUB, 1991). He is a lecturer at the UA’s Faculty of Design Sciences, where he teaches architectural design. He was founding partner of Meta architectuurbureau and van Huiswerk architecten together with Dirk Somers from 2001 to 2011.
Wieërs was appointed Flemish Architect in 2020.
