OMA
OMA (Office for Metropolitan Architecture) is founded in 1975 by Rem Koolhaas, Elia Zenghelis, Madelon Vriesendorp & Zoe Zenghelis.
The office is led by seven partners: Rem Koolhaas, Ellen van Loon, Reinier de Graaf, Shohei Shigematsu, Iyad Alsaka, David Gianotten and CEO Victor van der Chijs.
(Remment Lucas) Rem Koolhaas (°Rotterdam, 17 november 1944) won the Pritzker Prize in 2000.
Koolhaas studied at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London and at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Koolhaas is the founding partner of OMA, and of its research-oriented counterpart AMO based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. In 2005, he co-founded Volume Magazine together with Mark Wigley and Ole Bouman
