Christian Kerez

Christian Kerez (°Maracaibo, Venezuela, 1962) is a Swiss architect with an office in Zurich.

He graduated in 1988 at the Federal Institute of Technology Zurich in Miroslav Sik and Fabio Reinhart. After that, he worked from 1991 to 1993 in the office of Rudolf Fontana, before he opened his own office in Zurich. In addition to his work as an architect, he worked as a photographer.

In 2001-2003 he taught as a guest lecturer at the Federal Institute of Technology. In 2003 he became Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) and 2008 Full Professor of Architecture and Design at the ETH.
