ssa/xx is a multidisciplinary platform in Ghent founded in 2000 by Guy Châtel and Kris Cooremans as a partner since 2001.

Guy Châtel (°Ghent, May 20, 1956) graduated from the University of Ghent in 1980 as a civil engineer architect. As professor of Architecture Studies, he joined the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of Ghent University.

Kris Coremans (°Brussels, 1960) graduated in 1984 as a graduate in Landscape and Architecture at the HRIT Melle in 1996 as Civil Engineer Architect at Ghent University. Since 2001 he works as a teaching assistant at the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of Ghent University.
