NORD is a Belgian architectural and scenography office in Brussels founded by Valentin Bollaert and Pauline Fockedey.
Valentin Bollaert is an architect, graduated from the Institut Supérieur d’Architecture Saint Luc Tournai. He collaborated with the architectural firm V + on various public projects. He regularly acts as a guest jury in the various faculties (ULB La Cambre / Horta, LOCI Tournai, LOCI Louvain-la-Neuve). Valentin is currently leading a workshop with Hugo Corbett in the BA1 project workshop at the Faculty of Architecture of La Cambre – Horta of the Université libre de Bruxelles.
Pauline Fockedey (° Mouscron, August 17, 1988) is an architect, graduated from the Faculty of Architecture La Cambre-Horta at the ULB. In addition to her professional practice, she is involved in various activities that examine the critical, theoretical and cultural contours of architectural production in Belgium. She is the founder of the Orthodox collective, which was mainly responsible for the editorial management of the publication Inventaires # 1 and is also part of the artistic committee of the Belgian architecture magazine A +. Pauline currently teaches at UCLouvain’s Faculty of Architecture, Architectural Engineering and Urbanism (LOCI), while leading a doctoral research project, a case study of which was published in Oase # 102.
